How ABA Recs Builds Reddit-Sourced ABA Provider Pages

ABA Recs collects and organizes public Reddit discussions about ABA providers. The goal is to make Reddit research easier to check, not to create verified medical guidance.

ABA Recs is not medical advice, clinical advice, legal advice, insurance advice, or a provider endorsement. Always verify licensing, insurance coverage, availability, credentials, and clinical fit directly.

1. Source collection

We collect public Reddit discussions that mention ABA therapy, autism services, provider names, locations, insurance topics, Medicaid, waitlists, in-home ABA, center-based ABA, and related family needs.

2. Provider matching

Provider names are matched to known ABA provider entities. When a name is ambiguous, the mention is held for review instead of being published automatically.

3. Topic tagging

Mentions may be tagged by family need, including Medicaid, in-home ABA, center-based ABA, toddlers, school-age support, waitlists, parent communication, and insurance help.

4. Sentiment classification

Mentions may be classified as positive, mixed, neutral, or concern mentioned. AI can assist with classification, but sensitive or negative provider claims should be reviewed before publication.

5. User counting

Where possible, one Reddit user is counted once per provider topic to reduce duplicate weighting from repeated comments.

6. What we do not verify

ABA Recs does not verify clinical quality, licensing status, Medicaid acceptance, insurance contracts, waitlist length, staff credentials, treatment fit, or whether a Reddit comment is factually complete.

7. Corrections

Providers, parents, Reddit users, and readers can request corrections or context updates through the corrections page.
